COVID - 19 SAFETY PLAN

Updated 07/21

Face to face sessions have resumed, but teletherapy is encouraged when possible. As we continue with our reopening plan, please find a list of precautions we are taking to ensure the safety of everyone.

COVID-19 Guidelines

  • Please take your temperature prior to in-home session. If over 99 degrees, please cancel the session. The therapist/Consult will also check their temperature and not come to your home if it is above 99 degrees.

  • Please cancel the session 24 hours if you or your child are not feeling well.

  • The therapist/consultant will follow social distancing guidelines and limit their unnecessary contact with others outside the clinic. We ask the same of you.

  • The therapist will wash hands with sanitizer prior to coming into your home and will wash hands upon arrival and after the session. Please also wash your hands and your child’s hands prior to the session.

  • The therapist will wear face shields and/or masks in your home

  • Hand washing before and after sessions for all clients and therapist.

  • The therapist will not bring any toys or equipment into your home unless it is for you to keep form the lending library.

  • To allow social distancing for our employees and clients, the therapist/consultant has limited days working and has decreased the number of home visits on a given day. Therefore, please make appointments well in advance.

  • At this time, we prefer to continue to provide the majority of our sessions via telehealth and will not be providing school sessions.

We ask the following of our clients

  • If you know that you, or a person in your home, has been exposed to or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please report immediately to Kidscando, LLC.

  • It is suggested sessions occur outside when possible.

  • It is best if Only one parent/guardian accompanies child in the front room of your home for a session.

  • If a provider or client is exposed to the virus, he or she must implement a 14-day quarantine (from date of exposure) from face to face visits.

  • Research shows it is best when both parties wear a mask.

  • Parents/guardian, we would appreciate it if you would also wear a mask or cloth face covering while the therapist is in your home.

***Teletherapy is offered at the same rate as face-to-face sessions
